General Responsibilities:Projects:Foremost leads but also participates in projects, ensuring timely deliveries according to specification and within budgeted cost.Allocates, secures and ensures efficient utilization of resources.Manages dependencies and potential changes within the project.Identifies and navigates through risks within projects.Documents and reports project status (cost, time, etc.).Communicates progression towards stakeholders.Responsible for coordinating projects, project planning, resourcing and progress reporting for Ｏngoing projects within the portfolio.Application development:Captures and develops new manufacturing application ideas, applying them to add value to the Automotive offering.Supports improvements of methods, tool selection and processes within the Automotive portfolio of products and applications.Supports in exploring, identifying and developing new application areas as well as further developing existing Ｏnes.Product developmentSupports in designing, developing, validating and brings new product offerings to marketSupports verification testing ensuring specification of demand is meet.Collaborates with internal partners (design, manufacturing, product specialists) to optimize ability to manufacture.Customer ProjectsAnalyzing customers technical needs in order to devise suggested solutions.Supports implementation and ensures understanding among the receiving stakeholders.Attentive and supports in reporting customer findings and trends to internal stakeholders.Actively engages with sales, customer and end-users, promoting and finding suitable customer cases for the department to take Ｏn as projects.Visits customers or end-users as required to fully understand needs/objectives, present project solutions and support implementation as needed.Personal developmentContinuously develops own knowledge and expertise within the field of Automotive applications and designShares skills and best practices within the teamActively engages and supports colleagues in their professional growthOtherDerives sufficient facts in order to takes decisions and delivers results within set time frame.Promotes and obliges the Sandvik Core ValuesPromotes and obliges a Safety First attitudeConducts business ethically in line with Sandvik policy
